Meet Dr. Courtney Geiger
Education
Born and raised in Greenwood, Dr. Courtney Geiger graduated from Roncalli High School before pursuing her BS degree in Nutrition Science with a minor in Biology from Indiana University. Working as a dental assistant in pediatric and general dentistry offices sparked a passion for dentistry, so Dr. Geiger went back to school and earned her doctorate from the Indiana University School of Dentistry in 2007. After graduation she worked for 12 years in Crawfordsville before moving her practice to Murphy’s Landing to be closer to family.
Treatment Philosophy
Dedicated to helping her family of patients with all their restorative and cosmetic needs, Dr. Geiger is passionate about the continuing education that brings you the latest evidence-based options for your family’s care. Whether you need an endodontic treatment, dental implant restoration, or desire a cosmetic enhancement for your smile – including Botox® & Fillers – Dr. Geiger will deliver your care with gentle excellence and understanding. She is also certified in sedation dentistry so you can get the care you want and need in relaxing comfort.
Home Life & Claim To Fame
Away from the practice, Dr. Geiger enjoys spending time with her husband Bill and their three children, Will, Sammy, and Janie. Bill and Dr. Geiger have been together since grade six when he asked her to be his girlfriend after winning the spelling bee! She can often be found watching her children’s sporting events, boating on Lake Monroe with her family, or reading in her spare time.
If you’ve ever wondered what a Python bite feels like, just ask Dr. Geiger when you meet her. She was once bitten by one and had to pick his teeth out of her hand! She’s also been a vegetarian since she was just 10 years old and is one of the few women you’ll meet without pierced ears.

Home Life & Career Choice
Dr. Hartman and her husband Brian have two children, Evan and Andrew, and a Labradoodle named after Emmet, the Lego character. Always a passionate learner, Dr. Hartman is studying for a bareboat charter certification for sailing. She enjoys warm, sunny travel destinations, reading, and cooking.
When at university and choosing a career path, Dr. Hartman was pulled between becoming a medical doctor or a dentist. When she met her husband Brian, now an ER doctor on the Southside, she was able to more accurately weigh the rewards of both options ... and she chose dentistry. Dr. Hartman loves interacting with her patients every day, helping them gain optimal oral and overall health, and encouraging them to care for their beautiful smile that boosts self-confidence. It's an incredible way to positively influence so many people at every stage of their lives.
